Neutrogena Deep Clean Oil to Foam Cleanser

Hey guys! This post is going to be about a new cleanser I purchased. I love checking out new cleaners because I wear makeup all day and most everyday. I need to keep my skin healthy by cleaning it everyday! If you’re like me, cleansing is the best way to keep your skin glowy and ready for another days worth of makeup.

I will start by saying that I haven’t bought a Neutrogena brand cleanser in like 5 years. I was always a fan of their Deep Clean foaming and cream cleansers. However I always did feel like it dried out my skin too much, so I stopped and never bought one again. Now fast forward 5 years, I decided to try out their new Deep Clean Oil to Foam cleanser. I recently reviewed a milk to foam cleanser and I’ve reviewed a cleansing water to foam cleanser a long time ago. I think it is time to review a oil to foam cleanser 😉

There are three different oil to foam cleansers to choose from, original, brightening, and hydrating. I bought the brightening one because I’ve been getting exposed to more sun and dirt these days my skin has been looking a bit dull. The brightening one has mulberry extract which is rich in vitamin C and B3 that helps with dark and dull looking skin. The packaging comes in clear air pump case. You press the nozzle on the top to pump up the product. The oil is in a clear gel form so its not as runny as ordinary oil cleansers.

The one I got smells really good, like berries…. duh Sarah hahaha. You have to apply directly on dry skin and rub it around a bit. Then add a bit of water to create the foam. After couple minutes of massaging and bubbling, rinse it off with warm water. It does have a silky feel as you rinse it off and not a squeakiness of a usual foam cleanser. When I looked at the water when I was rinsing I could tell it was doing it’s job.

How did it perform? I had a full face of makeup and I had it on all day and it removed everything except a little bit of mascara underneath the eyes. I would still have to use a lip and eye makeup remover to get my waterproof mascara off, but with everything else it did a really good job. I didn’t feel that it dried out my skin like their foam cleansers did back in the day. But even so, I did feel a bit of tightness after a few minutes. I didn’t really see a huge brightening effect, just the usual brightness after washing my face. I wasn’t really expecting an amazing difference, so that’s that. Also it didn’t sting my eyes as much like the other ‘_____ to foam’ cleansers I’ve reviewed.

I think these cleansers are great for those who don’t wear much makeup or any makeup at all. Also for the busy, lazy, and tired hahaha. This is a great 2-in-1 cleanser that will give you a squeaky good clean and you don’t have to worry about doing a second round of cleansing. Each cleanser costs 35,000KRW.
