My Morning Skin Routine- Cup o’ Coffee & Victoria Egg Soap

I am not a morning person. I’m always hit snooze my alarm at least 5 times and I try to stay in bed as long as possible. My getting out of bed routine is shambles, but my morning skin care is very orderly. I like to keep it simple in the morning because I’m always rushing to get to work haha.

The packaging is awesome!

After checking the state of my bed hair, I first rinse my face with warm water to wash away drool, eye boogers, and some fluff. Then I swiftly open up my Victoria soap case to lather up the Victoria Lanolin-Agg-Tval Swedish Eggwhite Soap. This has been my morning soap for about 5 to 6 months. After I bought one soap bar, I bought two cases of 6 soap bars just after using it for a month. It’s that good, mmmmhm.

Eggs anyone? Each box has 6 bars and I got a free soap case.

The soaps are gentle enough to use in the morning and will help prep your face by helping to clean and shrink pores and gently wash away oil and residue that resulted while you were sleeping. The soap is made with glycerine that will protect the skin from dryness, and rose water, olive oil, lanolin that helps to soothe the skin. And of course egg whites that help to shrink pores and draw out impurities from your skin. Just like some people do egg white masks to cleanse the skin, this is in soap form.

After washing my face feels soft, tightened, and has a brighter complexion. I like to lather it up and massage the foam on to my skin and leave it on for a minute. Then rinse off with cold water to close up the pores. Just be aware if it gets in your eyes it stings really bad, so just be careful if you have sensitive eyes or just eyeballs in general.

Mini! It’s so cute!

You can also use it as a mask pack too, same idea like I’ve written above but leave it on for about 5 minutes. I love this soap and not to mention one bar lasts a long time just keep it dry after you’ve used it. I forget how much one soap bar costs but it’s around or maybe less than 5,000KRW. Not 100% sure, but you can buy a box of it for about 15,000KRW on Gmarket. I got my two cases for very cheap at Costco in Seoul but not sure if they still have it.

That’s my morning skincare routine! I hope it’ll help you if you’re not sure how to cleanse in the mornings.
