Etude House Any Cushion Cream Filter

Hey OMGlossers! I’m here with another review for you today! I was going to post yesterday but I am so busy lately… I really need to prioritize my blog more. Anyway, I asked you guys on social media what you wanted me to review first on the list I wrote down and it was a the Etude House Any Cushion Cream Filter! I was kind of hoping that this would get the majority vote cause I bought it a few days ago and I’m SERIOUSLY  IN LOVE WITH IT!  I can’t wait to tell you about it so let’s get started.

The Any Cushion is the newest cushion at Etude House, it is also called the ‘Morning Glow Cushion’. It was released in August and it is the best selling product. This cushion was inspired by the fresh looking skin when we wake up and wash our face in the morning. So in the cosmetics laboratory, the beauty scientists they found in their research that your skin looks better because of the high concentration of green light in the mornings. So they developed an ingredient called ‘Morning Filter’ that is supposed to mimic this fresh looking morning skin. It sounds magical doesn’t it?

The packaging is simple but has that Etude House girly look and an awesome rainbow hologram inlay on the cover. I thought it was printed holo, when I looked closer it seems to be coated/inlayed. Which is nice because you don’t have to worry about it getting scratched off.  The cushion has a slimmer design (22mm) and is very light weight. Inside you get a standard cushion, seemed a little stiff and thin but works fine. The Any Cushion has a netting to keep the product from seeping out, unlike your usual sponge filler. I actually like this more because I can get an even amount product on the sponge and I don’t have to press into anything so it keeps the cushion/puff/fingers clean.

The formulation is AMAZING! I love the creaminess and it gives you such an awesome glow! It is also formulated with mineral water so it keeps your skin moist throughout the day. The coverage is on the light side, so if you have blemishes you need to cover use a concealer before or after. It adheres to the skin really well stays in place pretty well. I did see it move into the wrinkles under the eyes, but I think it was because of my concealer. So I had to apply a small amount of powder there. But everywhere else like the corner of my nose and mouth were fine. After 8 hours it still looked great as it did in the morning. The glow was very long lasting. Even at the 11-12 hour mark it looked decent faded a little but still glowy and dewy and it didn’t darken or oxidize too much. My skin felt very moist throughout the day I would touch it with the back of my hand and I could feel that my skin wasn’t dried out. So for my dry skin it was very comfortable to wear.

I can’t really say anything bad about this cushion because it was so cheap and gave me amazing results. There is no extra cushion refill when you buy it initially. It costs 18,000KRW and the refill is 10,000KRW. There are 5 colors to choose from 19 Vanilla ,21 petal (pink), 21 Beige (yellow), 22 Sand (neutral), 23 Tan (neutral). I would huighly recommend this to anyone who is looking fro a budget, everyday, light coverage cushion~

Thanks for reading and I hope you come back again for more awesome reviews!

  1. It’s refreshing to see other’s opinions on this cushion. It seems like people either really like this cushion or really hate it. Unfortunately for me, I don’t like this cushion. With my dry skin, living in a place with low humidity and heaters on all the time drying out my skin, this cushion didn’t sit well with my skin :'(. I wanted to like it but it just didn’t work out.

  2. […] out with their new cushion is April. Their previous cushion before the All Day Perfect was the Cream Filter one, which I loved and still do. That one is not so great if you want to hide any blemishes, but if […]
