A’PIEU Triple Wear Foundation Review

Hello~ Today I will be reviewing the Triple Wear foundation from A’pieu. I have been wearing for a couple weeks now so that I can give you a detailed review! I got this on the 1+1 sale so I paid 10,000 for one bottle of foundation and got the second one for free! Yay! I think the concept of the foundation was a spin-off of Estee Lauder’s Double Wear foundation. I haven’t tried that foundation, *gasp* so unfortunately, I can’t do a comparison.

I got the color number 5 Sand, a warm-toned beige. There are 5 shades to choose from! Still not much darker than the normal 23 shade, but the sand color isn’t that much lighter than my skin tone. Maybe a shade lighter, which I am used to now…. sadly. However, I do appreciate that there are more shades that people can choose from.

It comes with a pump and the bottle holds 35g of product, don’t know why it is in grams for liquid. Anyway, the texture is very runny but the pigmentation and coverage of the foundation is very high. It would be great for those who want to hide blemishes or freckles. Because it’s a thin texture it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin or cakey. The finish is matte and it has a slight powdery look. There’s no sticky feeling at all like glowy type foundations.

The wear is comfortable and it didn’t move around my face or fill into my lines. The longevity of the foundation is very high as well. It stayed perfectly for over 10 hours. It is winter here so right now I can’t see how it does in humidity. On my dry skin it was a tad bit drying, but with a hydrating base then setting it with the MAC Fix+ it felt fine the whole day. It didn’t darken either.

For the price, I think this is absolutely worth the purchase. If you have oily skin or you like a matte finish foundation then this is a foundation for you. I wish summer was here so I can see how it holds up in hot weather… but I also wish it was summer because winter is so cold! I hope you found this post helpful and I’ll see you on the next one!

  2. I wonder if my skin can use L’Oreal infallible in shade 125( natural rose) and inisfree long wear cushion shade #21 or #23(im not sure it ran out long time ago π_π) do you think I can use #5 sand?
I saw your picture and it’s look good when you just drop the product on your arm but when you blend it it’s kinda look lighter

    1. It is a bit light so I have to warm it up with a bronzer. I’m a 23-25 usually NC30 in MAC foundations.
