Hi, everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything and It definitely feels nice to be typing away on my keyboard to bring you the latest beauty review. I will be doing a part review of the A’pieu Moist Creamy Concealer and how it compares to the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, which is one of my favorite concealers. I’ve reviewed the Nars concealer already on my blog, and there are also tons of reviews on the interwebz that rave about this concealer as much as I do. I think A’pieu’s concealer is the closest Korean contender to the Nars that I’ve tried so far. Ding-ding! Let’s start the review~
The A’pieu concealer has similar packaging and applicator as the Nars, the A’pieu it has a thicker clear plastic body, though. The Nars has 6ml and the A’pieu has 7ml of product, so not that big of a difference in the amount. As for color range, Nars wins hands down because they have 16 shades to choose from while the A’pieu has only 5 light shades to pick from. I bought the darkest shade in 5 Sand which is a light yellow beige color, equivalent to Nars shade in Custard, which I don’t have but I am testing it with the shade ginger.
The formulas are similar that they both have titanium dioxide, mica, and tin oxide, tocopherol, and silica. The A’pieu has added niacinamide, which visibly improves the appearance of uneven skin tone, fine lines, and dullness. Also, it has hyaluronic acid, collagen, and coconut seed butter. While Nars has Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract which increases skin hydration, firmness, and elasticity in the eye area. Both concealers have a natural skin finish and both blend and adhere to the skin smoothly and last most of the day without much fading.
I would have to say that the Nars is a little more pigmented and a little creamier than the A’pieu concealer. I would say the coverage is the pretty bang on, it depends on how much you apply. The A’pieu’s slightly thinner consistency helps it not get stuck in the lines right under my lower lash line. With the A’pieu Moist Creamy Concealer, the same thing happens but a little less. For the most part, they both stay put and they don’t travel into fine lines.
With these minor differences and huge price difference $30.00USD for the Nars and $7.00-$8.00 fo the A’pieu Concealer, the latter is the clear winner in my opinion! However, this will not stop me from repurchasing the Nars concealer. If you’re on a budget then A’pieu is more and great, it’s amazing! If you want to splurge then Nars is also a great choice. I hope you found this helpful!
