I know the word fleek is way over used but whatevs. I’m going to share how I do my brows everyday. I started doing my brows not too long ago. I never thought about it really. After my foundation I just wiped off the residue on my brows with my finger and that was it. But then I realized when I took pictures my brows looked very sparse. Thats when I started to fill in my brows with a brow powder. I did that for a while and I started to dye my hair a lot and then I discovered color brow mascara so that my eye brows could match the color of my hair. I ran out of my brow powder so on Wednesday I went and bought an auto eyebrow pencil from Shu Uemura.

The original brow sword is like a brow pencil but cut with flat edges like a sword. Also you have to go to the store to get it cut again and sharpened. That’s a bother so they came out with an auto type thats already naginata (traditional Japanese blade) shaped that you can sharpen at home and later buy refills for. The formula is a hard wax type that will shape, fill, and stay on throughout the day. The auto brow pencil comes with a spoolie brow brush on the other end which you can twist off to reveal the sword sharpener.

It’s really easy to use because of how its cut. All you have to do is go in the direction of how your lashes grow. If you accidentally over do it then just fade it out with the spoolie brush on the other end. This is optional but because I have coloured hair just go over it with color mascara. I use the Fashion brow from Maybelline. Brush it inwards a couple times then brush it out, shaping it to your liking.

The Shu Uemura I got was in walnut brown and the maybelline brow mascara in dark brown. Now here are some pictures 🙂

Right: sharpener and spoolie, Top: brow sword, Bottom: spoolie brow brush
Top left: bare brow, Bottom left: filling in the brow in the direction my hair grows, Right: finished pencil look
Top: coloring the brow with the Maybelline brow mascara, Bottom: Brow complete!

The brow sword is 45,000KRW and refills are about 20,000KRW or something like that.
